This sketchbook spread features a stylized pattern of colorful poppy flowers. The garden of flowers includes leaves of green, yellow and peach. The flowers are yellow with blue stems. The drawing as a whole has a whimsical and playful feel with a bright color scheme, polka dots and organic squiggle shapes, and blobs of seemingly random colors. So I wanted to try something new in my digital art journey. I experimented with new techniques. I tried to use a brush type that gives a transparency effect.
I chose one picture from Loish's book as a reference.

hello :) my boyfriend and i did a trip to costa rica. it was fantastic, chaotic and adventurous and a mix of emotions. we are in a longdistace relationship and i am so grateful that we finally saw each other again there were times on the trip when i felt stressed, because things didnt go the way we planned. Drawing this really helped me to process all the different emotions. And i had so much fun drawing :)

This drawing was inspired of the trip my friends and i took to Canyamel. It is a beautiful place in Mallorca. I found a dress on the market that i reaally love now and maybe this inspired me to draw a dress? aand my friends and i created some bracelets, ankle bracelets and necklaces and i aabsolutly love to do that with them. It has been a while since my last upload, and also since my last finished thing. My studies aren’t giving me much free time at the moment. I drew a cute Easter bunny! My neighbor's bunny inspired me to draw her. I used a different name because the owner didn't feel comfortable having the name on her. She has taught me how to draw a few years ago and now since I am older I wanted to share it with you guys. Thank you!
My mum and i call him morise. (His real name is moritz). he made us delicious tea and coffee in his artstudio. we talked, painted and i drew alot at his place. he turned into family. when i heard that he passed away, i couldnt pick up a paintingbrush, acrylics or watercolours because it reminded me so much of him. now, for this drawing i started to experiment with watercolours again and added it in the drawing. honestly, i cried during the process of painting but i am proud that i dared to use it. i enjoyed to experiment.

The giant is inspired of the Forest Giant in the series "Hilda". After i watched the episode i really wanted to draw a giant. Now, some months later i finished the drawing and i had really fun. ☺️

I finally attempted to do a drawing completely in ballpoint pen (I faced my fears of messing up). Thank you to my friend for donating their face to this cause, very much appreciated. The drawing isn't 100% accurate, I think we can all agree on that, but a decent first try.
Sorry that I haven't posted anything I just have been feeling like bleh. I can admit quarantine makes me a little depressed even though I'm an introvert, I guess it combined with the rain gives me an excuse to stay in my room and never come out... Okay so there is some really sad news for the wonderful people that follow and support me... I am leaving next week, I have to give my computer back to the school... I might come back mid summer.... I might come back during the beginning of the year... I might forget about this super positive platform (not likely unless I go back to Deviant art (also not likely)... I've been going through my sketches, both completed and incomplete, and found a drawing of a young Sumatran Tiger that I began working on around two years ago, but never completed. I'm actually relieved that I didn't draw it earlier, as it has allowed me to gain more experience in illustrating this stunning creature, which is unfortunately a species at risk of extinction.
A few facts about the Sumatran Tigers...
The Sumatran tiger Panthera tigris sumatrae*, the smallest tiger subspecies, is critically endangered and stands as the final surviving species of island tigers. Poaching poses a significant danger to Sumatran tigers as hunters target them for their skin, bones, and canines. Additionally, habitat loss caused by oil palm, coffee, and acacia plantations, further endangers these big cats by reducing their prey availability and pushing them closer to human habitations.
It is estimated that there are fewer than 400 mature individual tigers in Sumatra in isolated pockets of protected land. Three of the protected areas are classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites but all are in danger of losing this status due to threats from poaching, illegal logging, agricultural encroachment, and planned road building. It is for these reasons the Sumatran tiger is classified in the most severe IUCN status: Critically endangered.
Description: The Sumatran tiger is the smallest and darkest tiger subspecies and tends to be more bearded and maned than the other subspecies. Male tigers can expect to reach somewhere in the region of 120kg and 8ft from head to tail vs females who average 91kg and 7ft length.
Breeding: Female tigers are sexually mature at about 3 or 4 years of age, and males at about 4 to 5 years. Mating may occur any time during the year, but it most frequently takes place from November to April. The information was obtained from conservewildcats.org. Thank you.

I have been making a lot of thank you cards lately and I thought I’d share. Haven’t had a ton of experience with watercolor lately, but I find the best way to get back into using a medium is using it on small projects and gradually working up to bigger pieces.
